Retail broker Faith Cope Consolo thinks downtown Brooklyn's incoming H&M and Filene's aren't going to get any high-end neighbors anytime soon. "Don’t hold your breath for a Tiffany’s unit or the next Saks Fifth Avenue," she writes, later adding "don’t count on a Henri Bendel opening down the street from H&M, as it is on the Fifth Avenue Gold Coast." But that doesn't mean the Fulton Mall is doomed. Consolo thinks it's growing into a Brooklyn equivalent of West 34th Street or Union Square. [Brooklyn Paper]
