Oddly enough, while we were here in New York thinking entirely too hard about Christian Louboutin and Kim Kardashian, our sister site's Japan correspondent was busy talking to the former about the latter. Kim recently broke her toe in a pair of Loub heels, but Christian suspects genetics might have been the real culprit. "Didn't she or one of her sisters hurt their ankle with some studs or something one time?" he asked when Racked National caught up with him at the opening of his Tokyo store. "Maybe it's just a clumsy family?" Then he explained that he'd tripped in flats recently and that his knee still ached. "It must be Kim's people—they're sending me bad karma for what my shoes did."
