WILLIAMSBURG—The Bedford Avenue Duane Reade opens this Saturday, November 6, in a spot directly across the street from independent local drugstore King's Pharmacy. "Looks to be the kind that's mostly underground," writes our tipster. WEST VILLAGE—Hudson Street just got New York City's first store dedicated entirely to salt. Called The Meadow and modeled after a sister location in Portland, the shop carries over 130 varieties of salt. [Gothamist]
