Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Last Wednesday afternoon, while you were in the middle of a bus ride/train ride/TSA patdown/rant about why you were still at work when half the city had already left, Honduran artist Josh Villatoro was putting the finishing touches on his egg mural for Rag & Bone. Villatoro is the man who won Rag & Bone's contest after the brand decided to cover the graffiti on their Elizabeth Street facade with some art of their own. He told Bowery Boogie that he's surprised no one tagged the work while it was still in progress.
