Over the long weekend, the Times took a look at the many changes facing the Fulton Mall. The newly openedAeropostale and the incoming H&M might bring in more foot traffic, but struggling local retailers are worried their businesses won't last long enough to see the positive effects. As the Times reminds us, though, this has all happened before: Back in the '60s, the Fulton Mall was "a rival to Fifth Avenue in Manhattan." [NYT; Previously]
