God bless the Cut for rounding up a slideshow of the best Halloween costumes worn by fashion people this weekend. You've probably seen Heidi Klum's Transformer costume, but did you know that both Michael Kors and Bette Midler went as trees? And both Richard Chai and Linda Fargo of Bergdorf went as people being attacked by birds—possibly birds that flew down from where they were perched on Kors and/or Midler! What all this means, we have no idea, but it seems awfully symbolic somehow. [The Cut]
