Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
If you can't pick between the plethora of sample sales and just want to shop, Elizabeth and James, LaRok and Patterson J. Kincaid's trifecta sale is probably your best bet. We've already reviewed the Olsens' contribution, so let's take a look at the other offerings via Sugar Rock Catwalk's post.
The LaRok portion of the sale is a total score, especially if you're looking for a statement-making piece to get you past a doorman at night. Embellished jackets, fur, faux fur, and vests are all on the rack at a serious discount, and if you happen to have an ostrich skirt on your "must buy" list for fall, you're in luck. To cover your bum in purple feathers, it'll only set you back a measly $50 too—good to know in case you don't wear it as often as you swear you will. The brand's dresses cost closer to $100. Want something more casual? Patterson J. Kincaid's frocks ringing in at $70 will do the trick.
