Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

ONLINE—If you haven't already, do check out the brand new and very cleverly conceived shopping site Of a Kind. Founders Claire Mazur and Erica Cerulo ask up-and-coming labels (this week it's Mandy Coon and Lizzie Fortunato) to create pieces expressly for their site. Each run only contains 40 or 50 items, and when they're gone, they're all gone. Explains Racked National: "One designer is features each week, with stories about the designer posted earlier in the week and the limited-edition product—produced in numbers less than 50—arriving onsite Wednesdays at 1pm. Each item is shipped with a numbered authenticity card signed by the designer." [Racked National]

UPPER EAST SIDE—Our sibling site Eater offers a Twitter-based look at last night's Barneys party. Notable Tweets include "'Fashion and food are now frienemies!' - @simondoonan" via @Lee_Schrager. [Eater National]
