UPPER EAST SIDE—Now through November 14, The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s Thrift Shop (aka the "Bergdorf of thrift stores") is hosting a major holiday sale. Stop by 1440 Third Avenue between 81st and 82nd to find womenswear, menswear, outerwear, shoes, and bags from the likes of Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren, Manolo Blahnik, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Marc Jacobs. Clothes start at $95, shoes at $125, bags and coats at $150. [RackedWire]
THE GARMENT DISTRICT—Despite the new dates, a tipster tells us that she RSVP'd for the Louboutin sale last week and got an email confirming that the sale was November 11, as in tomorrow. Maybe Louboutin originally scheduled the sale for tomorrow and then moved it once the dates became public—all we know for sure is that the company sent out a mailblast today in which the sale was listed as beginning next Wednesday.
