Creepy Crafts

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

If you've only been using your hands to send e-mails in Outlook and bring Cobb salads between a plate and your face, here's a way to break out of your appendage rut. In honor of American Craft Week (who knew?), Kate's Paperie will be bringing in five craftsmakers to teach little Halloween projects tonight from 5pm-7pm at their 3rd Avenue & 74th Street store. The event is free, but space is limited, so RSVP by e-mailing events@katespaperie.com or calling 800-809-9880. Mini Snickers bars and tiny bags of Skittles will be owed to anyone who makes us some Jack-O-Lantern knick knacks. [Kate's Paperie]
