Another sign that the recession has been good for resalers: Buffalo Exchange is about to open its third New York store, and this one isn't in thrift-happy Williamsburg or the East Village. The shop opens on Saturday, October 30 on Sixth Avenue and 26th Street, just a few blocks up from big box chains like Bed Bath and Beyond. More pertinent to the location, though, is the nearby presence of FIT, since the only demographic that might get more use out of affordable pre-worn clothing than regular college students is fashion college students. According to Buffalo Exchange's opening announcement, the space is big, with two buy counters (where you can sell old clothes) and eleven dressing rooms.
