Fairway officially breaks ground on their new Upper East Side location this Wednesday, but it looks like construction has already started. NY1 scored a look inside the four-story space, which used to house a Barnes & Noble. "We have about 45,000 square feet, so you get probably a little more complete shopping experience here than you might on the Upper West Side," says Fairway owner Dan Glickberg. Hear that, Upper West? Those sound like fighting words to us.
