Are you a suave, sophisticated man looking for a place to drink brewskies and bourbon while you shop for fall boots, cool German T-shirts and various leather goods? Then you might enjoy J.D. Fisk. The Lower East Side boutique which opened last Friday is Dolce Vita's new men's store, taking the place of the former Dolce Vita boutique on Ludlow and Stanton.
The J.D. Fisk brand features suede and leather shoes and boots, ranging from loafers and oxfords for $198 to lace-up boots for $289. The shoes have a classic yet rustic American feel, and as typical with Dolce Vita, seem to have exceptional quality for a reasonable price. The rest of the store is a well-edited collection of classic sportswear and urban cool from Shades of Grey by Micah Cohen, Penny Stock and German T-shirt brand PalmerCash, as well as accessories from Billy Kirk.
Our picks? The high lace-up boots, the Billy Kirk messenger bag, the Shades of Grey khaki trench coat and the PalmerCash T-shirt that says "Umlaut. Much More Fun With U."
