Just when you thought SNL booting off Jenny Slate was the worst thing to happen to our city, well, brace yourself. By week's end, Kim and Kourney Kardashian, Scott Disick and the couple's son Mason will be calling New York—and the penthouse of TriBeCa's Smyth Hotel— home.
The sisters will be relocating to Manhattan to film a three month long show for E! revolving around plans to open an East Coast branch of their L.A and Miami-based boutique Dash. Set to be similar to "Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami", the New York version will instead feature a different sis and a whole lot worse weather. And, with an early October start date, rumors that previously surfaced about Kourtney eyeing Meatpacking District store locations and producers hiring trendy boutique staffers willing to be on camera seem to finally be coming true.
Khloe will be staying in California with Lakers husband Lamar Odom, and for entertainment's sake, that's fine by us. Getting Kim to collaborate on a fashion-based business opportunity in a notoriously difficult city while living in tight quarters with a baby—and Kourtney's son—might actually be worth tuning in for. Let's just hope Kelly Cutrone drops by to set her straight or makes at least one of them cry by episode four.
