Identify This Terrifying Creature and Win a Fashion Week Swag Bag!

The most striking image in the fall Barneys catalog features model Lindsey Wixon standing in front of an enormous befanged skeleton. Her orange plaid Monique Pean Barneys label dress is technically the focus of the picture, and it is a show-stopper, but it's being completely upstaged by the mysterious beast. Is it a dinosaur? A composite gorilla-wolf hybrid? Maybe some kind of extinct killer sloth?

After much speculation at Racked HQ, we decided it was getting a little unhealthy to keep looking up skeletons on Google Images and got Barneys to tell us the answer. Now, it's your turn to play zoologist. Whoever emails us first with the correct identity of the Barneys skeleton will win an official Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week swag bag stuffed with goodies like a tie-dyed Costello Tagliapietra tote and a meal for two at Russian restaurant Mari Vanna.
