Both the soon-to-open Rag & Bone and Comptoirs de Cotonniers have been busy bees this past couple weeks. First, Comptoirs de Cotonniers basically announced its impending arrival with bold ad-covered plywood shrouding all the construction progress taking place inside.
Then today, a stroll past the previously quiet future Rag & Bone outpost revealed that they're much further ahead than we thought.
While the neighboring store has masked all the progress, a very "on-brand" group of Rag & Bone staffers were hard at work—priming the doorways (what color will they pick?!), fixing the floors and walking around looking generally busy. While stalking the work site, we saw exposed brick walls and some clothing racks lining the walls. Even the old Peter's signage is finally gone.
Rag & Bone has only a few days to make that projected October opening date, so we'll be keeping an eye out to see if they surprise us.
