SOHO—The Real Deal has a completely different take on the Nordstrom news than Crain's did. Crucial detail: "Although launched by Nordstrom, the store will have little affiliation to the department store brand, according to a spokesperson for the department store." Also, the name Nordstrom "will in no way be incorporated." They do agree with Crain's that the store will be run by the Nordstrom company, though. [TRD]

SOHO—ThreadNY peeked into the incoming Alexander Wang store on Grand and Mercer. According to workers on-site, it's currently projected to open in mid-March. [ThreadNY]
