Over the weekend, New York's steampunk aficionados dusted off their armored spats, traded their regular goggles for formal goggles, and piloted their dirigibles over to Dumbo for a fashion show celebrating the Victorian-era–obsessed subculture. Metromix has nearly a hundred photos of the styles, which range from the high priestess of steam at right to a French schoolgirl look that somehow incorporated a diving helmet—call it the "Jacqueline Cousteau."
