Loeffler Randall's Spring Preview Included Wedding Shoes

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Good news for brides to be: Loeffler Randall is launching a capsule bridal collection for spring 2011. We stopped into the showroom this morning for a sneak peek at the bridal, plus upcoming spring looks (including the buzzed-about Suno collaboration; more on that in a bit) and felt instantly dizzy at fabulous footwear options all around us.

Designer Jessie Randall originally created one-off bridal shoes based on existing designs for friends, but due to popular demand (and seeing a good business opportunity, we assume), she is launching this five-style collection. Fans of the line will recognize lovely bridal white or nude versions of popular shoe designs, such as the mesh lace-up Georgia bootie ($625), the strappy stiletto Paige ($550), and the flat silver Lila sandal ($295).

Now, on to our spring footwear checklists. Expect a new curved wood-heel design for warm weather booties, which is like the 2.0 version of the signature cone heel (like on the Fifi ankle bootie in the gallery). Summer brights include lots of the mouthwatering mango hue, as seen on some split leather wedges and low wedges.

There is also the aforementioned Suno collaboration and we do love us some collabs. The collection consists of sky-high wooden wedge slingbacks and almost-flat ankle-strap sandals and the eye-catching styles are done in bright graphic Suno canvas prints. At this point, retail prices are not available, but look out for the shoes online and at Opening Ceremony come spring.

Take a minute to peruse the gallery below for five looks to placate you through this season and also five looks to get excited about for spring. Forgive us for counting all of the Suno looks as one pair, but we just couldn't pick one.
