Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Bigger isn't always better, but in this case, we're hoping it is. Assembly New York will be expanding to a larger space at 170 Ludlow later this month, just a scoot down the street from their current shop at 174 Ludlow.
The store's quintessentially LES clothes will be filling the former location of TG170, who moved three blocks south at the beginning of the month. The shop's opening event and preview will be next Thursday, October 21 and will be followed with an after party at La Caverna, in case you need to drink away all the spontaneous black, baggy purchases you made in their new spot.
