Yesterday, blogger The Vie Society went public with what she thought were some fuzzy numbers in a Gilt City event. In its listings, the sales site wrote that the original prices of tickets to Lincoln Center's Young Patrons gala were $40 higher than what Lincoln Center said they were. Vie suspected foul play, but Gilt City tells us that there's a very reasonable explanation for the $40 price gap: Their package deal includes a YPLC 101 event, which has a retail value of $40. In their original post, they mentioned the additional event but not the price, but now they've updated the site to make it more clear. [Previously; Gilt City]
