Park Slope Food Coop Hooker Dog Thief Found!

Runnin' Scared has located the woman whose photo appears on the Park Slope Food Coop's bizarre dog-theft flier. Well, sort of. What they found is an ad on Backpage.com, the classified site, for a Park Slope woman named "Vicki" whose photo matches the one in the ad.

Vicki says she charges "150 flowers" for half an hour and "200 flowers" for a full hour, which is an awful lot of plant life to hand over in exchange for having your dog kidnapped. Of course, we still don't know that she's the dog thief, or that a dog was stolen at all—but now we know that she really is an escort, which is more than we knew yesterday.

By the way, according to an earlier Runnin' Scared post, someone took down the part of the flier about the woman but left up a picture of the dog, a fluffy white Maltese named Lola. Park Slope: Much more interesting than people give it credit for.
