Mannequin, which came out in 1987, is the greatest movie ever made about the art of designing department store window displays. It is also the greatest movie ever made about falling in love with a reincarnated mummy who only comes to life when you're around. If there was ever a movie that did not need a remake, it would be Mannequin, and yet that's exactly what we're going to get. The only way this could possibly work is if it was shot by Simon Doonan as a Barneys promotion and released on YouTube. [Videogum]
