GARMENT DISTRICT—It turns out we aren't the only ones thrilled that Project Runway has returned to NYC for its seventh season. In appreciation for the show's contributions to the city's fashion industry, New York will officially dub Wednesday, January 13th, "Project Runway Day," a strip of Fashion Avenue will be temporarily named "Project Runway Avenue." Bundle up fashionably and come to 39th Street and 7th Avenue by the Needle Threading a Button sculpture, and you can attend the naming ceremony with Michael Kors, Nina Garcia, Tim Gunn, and some as yet to be named past and present Runway contestants. (We're guessing Kenley won't be one of them.)—Bonnie Datt [Racked Inbox]
