Like a zombie reanimated by the toxic waters of a south Brooklyn industrial waterway, the story of the Gowanus Whole Foods continues to lurch forward. Latest update: Whole Foods is going to start cleaning up their polluted parcel of canal-adjacent land, according to a letter the retailer sent out in December.
