Speaking of Agent Provocateur, founder Joe Corre just purchased ten percent of European cult makeup line Illamasqua. And it's just a financial investment; WWD is reporting that Corre plans to take an active role in the brand's development. The union makes sense, because the avant-garde cosmetics line has the same sort of edgy, dramatic appeal that Corre had so much success with over at Agent Provocateur. Illamasqua started in 2008 and has stores around the U.K., and it recently expanded its presence to the U.S. with a presence in 26 Sephora stores. [WWD]
