Atlantic Avenue antiques shop Darr takes the ye olde Brooklyn trend to dark, moody, wonderful places with its collection of battered armoires, vintage anatomical charts, and taxidermied animal heads. Now, the people behind Darr are bringing their special brand of creepy to Williamsburg. Starting Saturday, they'll be operating a second branch of the store at 101 Metropolitan Avenue (at Wythe.) If this all sounds vaguely familiar, it might be because Darr is owned by the people behind old-timey South Brooklyn menswear boutique Hollander & Lexer, which opened a second Williamsburg location earlier this year.
