Crow-logoed California brand Modern Amusement shut its doors today, but don't blame the recession. Former employees complained to WWD of mismanagement by Michael Boyes, who served as CEO until he stepped down in November. The closure is so abrupt that it's taken stores by surprise. Says Flying A owner Diana Oh, "It’s one of our most popular men’s lines, so we’re not happy about it. It’s pretty short notice." [WWD]
