Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The latest collection designed by Jeremy Scott, who designed the blue stewardess outfit Britney Spears wore in the video for Toxic, for adidas Originals has been revealed, and he went some kind of cracked-out crazy on these kicks. (We've heard that people who are really into sneakers call them that.)

Two pair have his Mercury-ish wing flaps under the laces, so you can get them in either white patent leather with a decorative gold satin stitch, or in an insane reflective rainbow pair that look like what we imagine we'd wear to drop acid with Lisa Frank.

The "rockstar" pair is plain silver and covered with crystals, and they're kind of mellow by comparison. There's also a bright silver loafer/sneaker hybrid that has tassels and three tongues, and a retro-inspired pair of tall sneakers with blue stars. They launch on February 1.
