Vivienne Westwood jumped on the homeless chic bandwagon with her menswear show in Milan this weekend. To be fair, her interpretation seems slightly more thoughtful than, um, Mugatu's: Westwood was inspired by a friend of her husband's who does charity work for the homeless, and she was clearly trying to be compassionate when she mused to the Times UK about how miserable it must be to lose your house. Still, it's hard to put cardboard boxes on the runway without reminding people of the greatest fashion comedy ever made. (Side note: Isn't it strange that the Times puts its menswear news in the women's section? God forbid actual men want to read about fashion.) [Times UK; Previously]
