UPPER EAST SIDE—Donald Goerke, the man who invented SpaghettiOs, passed away last weekend. In his honor, mod goddess Lisa Perry has set up SpaghettiO-themed windows. Better yet, the store is actually serving the canned delicacies. If you're looking for a snack on Madison this weekend, definitely stop in. [Racked Inbox]

RED HOOK—"I was standing in the organic-food section of the Red Hook Fairway when I heard a bird tweeting." Thus begins Lost City's investigation into Fairway's avian intruders. The two little birds seem to have flown in through the loading dock, and it sounds like they're not terribly eager to leave. Which makes sense: If we were birds in Red Hook, we'd want to live there too. [Lost City]
