Brooklyn Flea Vendors Missing in Haiti

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Lionel and Constant, the guys behind regular Brooklyn Flea booth Nenenn155, are Haitian-born brothers with families in Brooklyn. On Monday, they flew to Haiti to visit their mother, and the people behind the Flea haven't heard from them since. There will be a Red Cross collection box at the kiosk in the front of the One Hanson lobby this weekend; if you go, do donate. [Brooklyn Flea]
