Take a moment right now?just a moment?and reflect on the fact that the Barneys Warehouse Sale is less than a month away. That's right; it's due to begin on the same day as Fashion Week: February 11. But before the Barneys Co-op location in Chelsea closes to prepare and before the tents go up in Bryant Park, Barneys is marking down their designer stuff up to 60%.
Curious about what crazy treasure we might yet find on the sale racks, we swung by last night and immediately spotted T by Alexander Wang going for $49, plus his runway shoes now priced down to between $450-$210. But perhaps the most plentiful designer on the racks is Marc by Marc Jacobs, although the prices aren't exactly bargain yet, it is a good preview of what we might find at the Warehouse Sale next month.
Possibly the least attractive items on sale: Co-op brand leggings
Sadly, we wouldn't say this 60% off sale is much to get excited about, unless you're down for some cheap Wang (ha). Additionally, we spied whole racks of Theory, James Perse, 3.1 Phillip Lim and lots of Co-op brand items, like the knee-patch leggings above.
