In lieu of the standard runway show or presentation, Tim Hamilton just invited everyone to a sky-high space in the famed art deco AT&T headquarters in TriBeCa where a short film by Collier Schorr screened on loop while show-weary revelers toasted frosty Stellas. The film, entitled Rope and featuring a model climbing a rope, was supposed to give us all a look at the collection. What we got was a toned, bared torso, subtly erotic overtones, and one short, dark pair of pleated shorts, a soft blue henley and two tees—one of which appeared to be ruched. A ballsy move by Mr. Hamilton—and a nice respite from the hurry-up-and-wait runaround of yesterday.
