Today the New York Times published Cintra Wilson's love letter to Comme Des Garçons. First she finds a pair of men’s patent leather Mary Janes with bows on the toes and declares them the manliest shoes in the world. "Only a man who fears absolutely nothing could wear them. Arnold Schwarzenegger, if he actually were the Terminator and saving California from aliens, would wear these shoes," she says. Then she turns Jedi on the whole thing, saying: "Are Comme des Garçons creations wearable? Are they realistic? Are they cute? Comme des Garçons does not answer these questions." [NYT]
