Tomorrow, online boutique Not Just a Label opens a special September shop curated by gap-toothed supermodel Lara Stone. In the store, you'll find clothes from up-and-coming designers like Su Pei Ho, Spon Diogo, and Anna Aichinger. What you won't find is anything by an up-and-coming designer named Lara Stone. And as everyone keeps pointing out on the blogs, this is sort of odd. We're used to models designing collections, or at least models "designing" collections, but Stone's effort is more modest, and probably more logical. If America's Next Top Model has taught us anything, it's that nobody, not even Tyra, expects models to have inborn design sense, but plenty of people believe that they should know how to style themselves. Based on the photos we've seen, Stone's made some good, edgy choices—the woman knows how to pick a dress.
