Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Self Edge - a denim-centric shop that recently made its home in the Lower East Side - is now up-and-running. A new store produced video (see above) offers a great look at the recently opened space. The San Francisco transplant isn't your typical denim destination; it's geared toward more hardcore connoisseurs. Think: raw selvage denim with seams left intact. As we noted before, "the store is known for its collection of hard-to-find Japanese denim" and carries "the entire collection from streetwear brand 3sixteen."
