Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

WILLIAMSBURG—Trendy little boutique Otte has been holding a closing sale for a while, but it's about to get turned up a notch. Per the store: "In the next 2 weeks we will be clearing out our Brooklyn store completely and offering extreme deals on anything that's left! Currently nothing is over $80 and there are a lot of items in the $10-$20 range. We have select Commes Des Garcons wallets on sale, and Earnest Sewn and Current Elliot jeans for under $50." In an article in Crain's, Otte's owner was pretty blunt about leaving the 'Burg because nobody there has money anymore, so perhaps it's not a surprise that they've settled on Tribeca as their new home. NOLITA—Depending on how you feel about being judged by strangers on the Internet, this weekend's Inven.tory event with website Fashism is going to sound like either the best or worst thing ever. Fashionista explains: "Here’s the deal: you come in, try on some goods, pose for pictures and then the site’s staff (and online viewers) will vote on who looks best. Winners get a gift certificate for the store." Put your styling abilities to the test at 237 Lafayette Street between noon and 6pm on Saturday. [Fashionista]
