We're pretty sure furrier Adrienne Landau's display in the windows of Barneys is an homage to Where the Wild Things Are. Even if it's not a salute to the classic-kids'-book-turned-Spike-Jonze-movie, those fuzzy monsters are adorable. (You really should click through to see the snake.) Which means that while the window succeeds in getting people's attention, it's probably not the world's greatest marketing strategy. Does anyone really want to wear a Wild Thing?
