Come September 1, coat company Mackage plans to open its first-ever freestanding store on Washington Street between Little West 12th and Gansevoort. The shop will only stay up for a month, but it will carry the brand's full line: Wool coats, puffy jackets, and lots of leathers for men and women. After that, the duo behind Mackage, childhood friends Eran Elfassy and Elisa Dahan, will pack up for Paris, where they're opening a permanent retail space this November.
