Among tables of necklaces and racks of hanging bags at the Wooster/Spring Street flea market, you'll find a surprise: A Havaianas sample sale. Havaianas, the Brazilian flip flop company, is known for putting out durable and stylish sandals at moderate prices. But at this sale, the flip flops are practically a steal.

Twenty dollars will buy you three pairs of their simple flip flops, but $25 dollars will get you three pairs of their bejeweled sandals (originally retailing for $57 and up). We saw many 34/35's, 37/38, and 39/40's, but there's a full range of sizes for both men and women. Our favorites were the "Slim" style in gold, light blue, and light green, but most of the sandals we saw were "Tops". The sale goes till September 17th, but we aren't sure if all these great styles will last, so you might want to stop by soon. Summer may be almost over, but this is most definitely the perfect sale to stock up for next year. It's never too early, is it?—Daniella Lavian
