This weekend's Real Estate section took us into the Brooklyn apartment of Dossier founder Skye Parrott, who runs her magazine and store out of the space. The quirky little shop on the garden level of the duplex shares its name and aesthetic with Dossier, the fashion and literary magazine which first appeared in May 2008. The apartment is filled with contemporary art and photography, a marble fireplace, and a garden where Parrott and husband grow their own heirloom tomatoes and salad greens. When you live where you work, you can never really get away from the office, but if we had a place like that, we'd never leave it either.—EL [NYT]
