A Fashion Week field trip for anyone without press credentials and/or starved for the human touch? Governor's Island will play host to Pioneers of Change—a celebration of 400 years of Dutch-American friendship—with Dutch design, fashion and architecture. Sponsored by zany Dutch design collective Droog, the event will have Dutch-designed apparel at under $100, various exhibits and demonstrations, and the "Tickle Salon: a machine that is able to stroke with indefatigable attention" during the first weekend of and weekend following New York Fashion Week. —FG [The Cut via Pioneers of Change]
