In the Window: Hot Live Facebook Action at Bendel's

To celebrate the launch of its new Facebook page and Twitter account, Henri Bendel has installed a live model in its windows, and she's Facebooking. That's right: If you head up to Fifth and 56th right now, you can watch a genetically-blessed woman in a chic but nonthreatening outfit as she pokes her friends and updates her status. The display runs through next Monday concurrent with the "Bendel Girl of the Weekstakes," which offers the chance to win a $1000 shopping spree and a Bendel's VIP card to anyone (well, presumably anyone female) who posts a photo of herself on Bendelgirls.com. The photos also get displayed in the window, so, you know, just keep that in mind before you upload.
