In late May, Louis Vuitton opened a summer exhibition of their artworks and influences at Hong Kong's Museum of Art. Titled "Louis Vuitton: A Passion For Creation," the show just wrapped, but LV isn't letting it die.
Come September 22, the luxury brand is releasing a large-format book for you to place on your designer coffee tables. Louis Vuitton: Art, Fashion and Architecture is authored by the brand together with Camille Scherrer to showcase all the areas in which LV has a thumb dipped.
Judging from the preview video above, the tome looks to be like an LV encyclopedia, listing collaborators like "Prince, Richard" and "Kawakubo, Rei" paired with glossy ad campaign images and pretty snapshots of store design.
Pre-ordering is already open on Amazon.com, and will lock you into a lower price of $53.55 instead of a cover price of $85. We're pretty sure that's for a basic hardcover however, and the nicely plexiglass-slipcovered version in the video above will probably be some other astronomical price and only available at Vuitton stores.
