WILLIAMSBURG—To honor Farrah Fawcett, the Beehive Salon will offer $50 "Farrah blowouts" next Friday, July 10th. Since Fawcett was an advocate for victims of domestic abuse, half the proceeds will go to the non-profit Sanctuary for Families. Naturally, a Best Farrah Hair contest will follow. Park Slope Charlie's Angels fans, if you don't want to commute all the way to North Brooklyn, you can also get into the action at SlopeSuds, where half of the $50 will go to the American Cancer Society. City Council? Mayor of Brooklyn? We'll see. In the meantime, if you ride a bike, please don't ride the wrong way down a one way street. Other bikes and cars and pedestrians aren't expecting traffic to come that way and they're not looking. You guys, as there are, and there will be, more and more bike riders in New York City, there's going to be more accidents and people are going to get hurt." Mayor of Brooklyn! [Racked Inbox[
