In the Window: Michael Jackson R.I.P. At Buckler Soho

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Just as they did back in October with their Obama endorsement, Soho shop Buckler isn't letting their small display window cramp their creativity.

The white tape and vinyl makes a reappearance in the form of Michael Jackson, and surprisingly, this happens to be the only store tribute to him that we've spotted thus far in the city. Where are all the fake Balmain jackets when you need to see them the most?

Nonetheless, this simple yet attention-grabbing ode to the King of Pop, who influenced generations of fashion (and yes, currently Balmain), stands alone on Grand Street.
