The Calypso outlet at 426 Broome Street was reborn this weekend as Calypso St. Barth au Marché, a Frenchified market that carries Calypso's usual tropical-island pieces alongside one-offs like vintage Levi's. Sample Sally dropped by this weekend and discovered that almost everything was discounted up to 60%, meaning that silk tops were $29, silk dresses a little over $100, and cashmere sweaters $100 to $150. Also worth noting: "They were giving an extra 20% off sale merchandise over the weekend. The sales staff said they weren’t sure how long that discount would be on offer."
