Detour, one of Soho's first and oldest fashion establishments, is shutting down its women's shop, which has been open for over 20 years. "Detour is famous for having been the first vendor to distribute Diesel jeans in the United States before they had decided to open stores independently. It brought couture Italian brands to the United States and single-handedly molded the look and trends of the downtown area," writes a tipster. "I know I'm a rare breed, but anyone who has actually lived in Soho for over 20 years knows just how sad of a time it is." Through July 30th, everything in the store is going for up to 90% off.
