Krieger, 7/17
Many of the Lower East Side's little boutiques held special sales for menswear trade show (capsule) this weekend, but Gargyle took things a step further, hosting a "prop-up shop" for set designer and interior decorator Kenyan Lewis. Inside, we found all manner of vintage curios, from fencing masks to wooden ships to what looked like stereo equipment from the 1890s. Stop by the store, on Orchard Street between Canal and Hester, between 11am and 7pm today or tomorrow to see the installation for yourself.
